The Bothy is a traditional stone built house situated at Clach na Brain, near Kirriemuir in Angus. We are in the prime walking and cycling countryside of Glen Clova. Glen Clova, a renowned botanical site is on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park. It is also ideal for fishing, bird watching, golfing, touring or for complete relaxation.

Our traditional cottage has 1 double 'en suite' bedroom.

The property has electric central heating with instant hot water, a wood burning fire and a compact, but well equipped kitchen with full size cooker, fridge , basic cooking ingredients and cleaning equipment is also provided.

In terms of leisure equipment, we have a TV, DVD player, DVDs , board games, jigsaws and books.

There are a number of attractive towns and villages in the area including Dundee, Arbroath, Montrose, Carnoustie, Forfar and Brechin. To the east is a fantastic and varied coastline, complete with craggy cliffs, sea caves and beautiful esturies ranging from the famous Carnoustie Links , through the fishing town of Arbroath, famous for its smokies and on up to Montrose.

Being on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park and as well as walking, exploring or cycling holidays we are also an ideal base for fishing, bird watching, golfing, touring or for nothing more than simply relaxing in one of Scotlandís most beautiful areas.
