The Strontian Hotel is a small, family-run highland hotel that has one of the best panoramic Loch and Mountain views in Scotland. We are perfect for a magical getaway in The Highlands.

There are comfortable en suite bedrooms which each come with a TV, toiletries, hairdryer, soft towels, bottled water, hot drinks tray and welcome snacks. Three of the rooms face Loch Sunart, so have panoramic views of the tide coming and going, with the mountains in the background. The others have a garden or woodland view, so you will still feel like you are immersed in our natural environment and get a sense of location from within.

The Bothy Bar and Restaurant is a separate business operating within the hotel building. Reserve a table as it can get busy.

There is also a small, cosy bar which is very dog friendly. You can enjoy a large selection of Scottish whisky and a choice of bottled real ales.

The Ardnamurchan peninsula has much to offer through its huge unspoilt land area, yet Strontian is only 19 miles from Fort William's mainline train station. There are many day trips to consider and a good number of places to visit such as the Ardnamurchan Natural History Centre, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Sunart Oakwoods, Salen, Kilchoan, Glenborrodale, Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, Castle Tioram and Knoydart.
