Penwern Fach Holiday Cottages are situated near Cardigan Bay in the heart of beautiful countryside, offering glorious views over the Teifi Valley & Preseli Mountains. We are close to the pretty little fishing village of Cenarth and in the ideal location for discovering all that Ceredigion has to offer.

Our charming cottages have been sympathetically converted from traditional Welsh farm buildings, offering original stone walls and exposed beams whilst still providing modern accommodation. We are only six miles inland from the spectacular coastline of Cardigan Bay with its glorious sandy beaches, cliff-top walks and home of the bottlenose dolphins and grey seals.

Teifi Cottage (Sleeps 5):

Teifi Cottage is a traditional natural stone built cottage converted from the old dairy. There is an open plan sitting room on the ground floor, with ceramic tiled flooring, a wood burning stove, Smart TV and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. For added convenience, there is also a cloakroom with toilet and hand-wash basin.

A staircase leads up to the first floor which has two bedrooms and the bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has three single beds. All bedding is provided and the beds made up for your arrival. The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and hand basin. There is central heating throughout. Patio area with table and chairs

Cych Cottage (Sleeps 4):

Cych Cottage is similar to and fitted and equipped the same as Teifi and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There is an open plan sitting room on the ground floor, with ceramic tiled flooring, a wood burning stove, Smart TV and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. For added convenience, there is also a cloakroom with toilet and hand-wash basin.

Towy Cottage (Sleeps 6):

This delightful character cottage has been converted from the old stables and hayloft. There is an open plan sitting room on the ground floor, with ceramic tiled flooring, a wood burning stove, Television with Fire Stick and dining area. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

Also on the ground floor is a separate shower room, with shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Gwaun Cottage (Sleeps 2):

Gwaun is a one bedroom, luxury, ground-floor accommodation with under-floor heating and a wood burner in the living area along with a television with Amazon Fire Stick. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher & microwave. A bathroom with toilet, hand basin, bath and separate shower. A bedroom with double bed, all bedding is supplied and bed will be made up for your arrival. This cottage has its own private patio/garden area.

Cothi Cottage (Sleeps 4):

Cothi cottage is a modern, spacious single story cottage set away from the main cottages in its own grounds with a private patio area. The cottage comprises a sitting room with wood burning stove and underfloor heating, Smart TV, fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker. Two good sized bedrooms one with a double bed & dressing area and the other has two single beds. Full central heating throughout.

All bedding is supplied and the beds are made up for you on your arrival. Cothi cottage has a bathroom with bath and a shower over and wash-hand basin and a separate room with toilet and wash-hand basin.

Hirwaun Cottage (pet free Cottage):

Hirwaun is a new but traditionally styled, semi-detached cottage with a contemporary open plan living and dining space incorporating beautiful high green oak beam ceiling and underfloor heating. The living area has ceramic tiled flooring, a wood burning stove, and a Smart TV. One double bedroom on the ground floor and a novel loft bedroom with two single beds. A fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.

The cottage has an ‘Escape to the Country’ feel about it and offers a very high standard of accommodation in both build quality and the care throughout to its furnishing – a holiday heaven!

Sit back and relax in the beautiful grounds, or for the more active, enjoy the numerous leisure facilities Penwern Fach has to offer, including a golf practice field, a football field, children’s play area and games room, a great distraction for inclement weather. There is ample space to exercise your dog, with dog friendly beaches close by. A short distance away lies the charming village of Cenarth, which is famous for its salmon leaping, glistening waterfalls and the nearby Cenarth Falls Resort – Lolfa and Spa which offers excellent facilities for guests to enjoy at a discounted rate, including a bar, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Also within easy reach of Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan and the spectacular coastline of Cardigan Bay.
