Golygfa Deg (meaning “Fair view” in Welsh) is a three bedroom holiday cottage located in Gwbert-on-Sea near Cardigan, Ceredigion. The self catering holiday cottage enjoys spectacular views across the Teifi estuary to North Pembrokeshire and out across the Irish Sea.

Our wonderful cottage is beautifully furnished and perfect for the ultimate coastal holiday. The new open plan kitchen/dining/living area is perfect for unwinding in and boasts stunning views across the estuary. Facilities include a 40’’ flat-screen TV and DVD/Blu-Ray player. Fully glazed patio doors open onto the decking area which seats 6, ideal for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine whilst savouring the view.

Children will love our games room. This fun-filled room has a full-size table tennis table, dartboard, table football and an X-Box 360 console with a selection of popular games.

The recently installed kitchen is well-equipped and comes with a large fridge-freezer, electric grill and double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, ‘Dolce Gusto’ coffee maker, a built-in wine fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave oven. Well stocked with crockery, glassware and cutlery. There is also a large breakfast bar and dining area.

We have three newly decorated bedrooms, including two doubles and a twin overlooking the rear garden. A family bathroom comes complete with a shower/bath and toilet and there is also a separate shower room and toilet.

The bustling market town of Cardigan is less than a five minute drive away, giving guests easy access to a range of shops and supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways, as well as a leisure centre, theatre, cinema and other amenities. Follow the coast north to explore some of Cardigan Bay’s best beaches, including National Trust owned Mwnt and the popular bays of Tresaith and Llangrannog, or head south into Pembrokeshire for more beaches and a host of leisure attractions.
