Penffynnon Properties offers wonderful self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Aberporth in Ceredigion. Our dog friendly holiday cottages are all within 200 yards of the sea and are wonderful retreats for families and friends who want to visit this magnificent part of Wales.

All the cottages are tastefully furnished and come with everything you need for an idyllic coastal getaway. Inside there is a cosy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views.

Ysgol:

Our fabulous cottage sleeps 6/7 people, great for a family or group holiday. Inside there are 3 attractive bedrooms. On the ground floor is 1 double and 1 twin en suite. Upstairs there is a family room with a king size bed and a studio lounge, plus an en suite shower room. This bedroom has as small balcony, offering a great spot for a morning coffee whilst enjoying the spectacular views.

Môr:

Our charming cottage sleeps 6 people and boasts amazing sea views. The ground level property is suitable for people with disabilities and offers good access. Inside there is a 1 king room on the ground floor, plus 1 double and 1 twin room. Two bathrooms are available. The patio area enjoys glorious sea views.

Dolphin Cottage:

This fantastic cottage offers full disabled access and enjoys breathtaking views over Cardigan Bay. Bedrooms consist of 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunkroom. An accessible bathroom room and a WC are available. A sliding door from the lounge offers access to the decked patio area.

Ty Broc:

Our cosy split-level house sleeps 8 and outside there is an enclosed garden, great for your four-legged friend. Bedrooms consist of 1 twin with a wash basin, 1 bunk room and 1 king room with a wash basin. A spacious family bathroom comes with a bath and a large shower.

The Shack:

This delightful cottage on the hill is the nearest one to the sea and has a lovely, enclosed garden to unwind in. The cottage is all on one level, making it particularly suitable for wheelchair users. Two beautiful en suite bedrooms are available and outside there is a shower for rinsing off any sand from a day at the beach.

Morawel:

Our gorgeous cottage is close to the seafront and great for a magical getaway. The cottage sleeps 10 in 1 king, 2 doubles, 2 twins and 4 bathrooms, including 3 of which are en suite. The property benefits from outstanding sea views.

This part of the country has something for everyone. You may be fortunate enough to see otters fishing in the river, but you will have to be very quiet. The country lanes are full of wildflowers and there are many parts of the nearby coast where you can walk to secluded coves and beaches.

The rich local wildlife does not only consist of dolphins. You may also see seals and red kites - one of the rarest birds in Britain. They are larger than the buzzard - which you are almost certain to see, and you can distinguish them by their forked tail and 'fingered' wing tips.
