The Old Wainhouse Inn is a warm and welcoming pub, on the 20 mile stretch of the A39 - between Kilkhampton & Camelford. It is an ideal base for those who want a break away to the Cornish coast. Our inn can be found at St Genny’s, a pretty hamlet just 7 miles from Bude and half a mile from the coastal village of Crackington Haven, so there are plenty of places nearby just waiting to be explored.

Our accommodation looks out towards the stunning and dramatic Atlantic Ocean which provides stunning views not to be missed. So whether you stay is to walk along the stunning coastline or a relaxing get away, we can accommodate you. The guest rooms have been decorated in natural colours, providing a relaxing and calm place to rest at the end of the day. We have 4 rooms available, all with en suite shower rooms. Breakfast is also available at an optional cost.

As well as offering accommodation, we also welcome residents and non residents to our bar and restaurant. We serve Cornish real ales and a variety of fine wines to accompany a delicious selection of hearty, flavoursome meals, freshly prepared to order by our chef who devises menus according to seasonal availability.

Food is available all day, every day. From a succulent mixed grill to scampi and chips, we have something for everyone. Outside there is a garden for al fresco dining in the summer months.

The Old Wainhouse Inn is conveniently positioned to be an ideal venue for business meetings, private functions and special occasions. You will find us easily, right on the side of the A39 at Wainhouse Corner which is 7 miles outside Bude when travelling towards Camelford, great for surfing.
