The house has been in our family for over forty years and has been thoughtfully updated to enhance its period character, such as the wooden bay windows, tiled fireplaces, and original floorboards. Modern comforts include a new kitchen extension with a skylight, luxurious ensuite bathrooms, and a cosy wood-burning stove. The main living area extends from the sea-facing front of the house to a sheltered garden at the back, opening onto a terrace via French doors. The kitchen is designed for gatherings, with a table that extends to seat twelve.

For additional relaxation space, the first floor features an extra living room with a sofa bed, providing versatile sleeping options. The decor includes eclectic textiles and artworks, some crafted by family members, alongside a collection of books and traditional games, enriching the home's warm atmosphere.

1. The top-floor master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, sea views, and a large ensuite bathroom.

2. The sunny ground-floor double bedroom opens to the garden and includes an ensuite shower.

3. The first-floor children’s room sleeps four, perfect for young guests.

4. The beloved single 'cabin' room boasts direct sea views.

5. The upstairs living room doubles as an optional fifth bedroom with a sofa bed and stunning sea views.

The sofa bed can also accommodate an extra 2 people, allowing 11 people in total if required.

The enclosed garden features a terrace, lawn, and outdoor furniture, ideal for dining al fresco. A shed houses beach toys and equipment for guest use.

Situated in a Victorian terrace from 1899, The Moorings overlooks Newtrain Bay, renowned for its rockpools and natural beauty. Trevone’s sandy beach is just to the right, perfect for swimming and surfing. Nearby, the coastal path leads to Tinker Bunny’s Pool and stretches towards both Harlyn Bay and the culinary haven of Padstow, offering a range of dining options and scenic walks.
