Larch Chalet, Boot, Eskdale, Cumbria
Larch Chalet has four spacious, beautifully furnished, self contained cottages that have been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board for self catering accommodation. Three cottages are able to sleep four and one is able to sleep five, all have double glazing and central heating.
The accommodation is immaculately presented with a fully equipped kitchen containing an electric cooker with four ring hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The large living/ dining area has a patio door leading onto your private south facing deck. A colour TV, DVD, radio and CD player should complete the need for home comforts.
There are two generously sized bedrooms, one double and one twin.
The chalets are set in large, beautiful, mature gardens on the banks of the River Esk. Here you will find BBQ facilities and garden furniture for you to use at your leisure. There is ample private parking and storage for mountain bikes.
For your convenience there is a laundry/drying room. Here you will find a washing machine and tumble drier as well as plenty of space to dry any wet outdoor gear!
We have mountain bikes available for our guests to hire. We have a range of sizes and can cater for people from 4ft 6” to 6ft 4”. We charge £10 per day/per bike. This price includes hire of cycle helmet or you can wear your own if you bring it with you. We can also help you choose a route suitable for your needs.
Eskdale is a beautiful valley in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The Chalets are set in a stunning riverside location close to the village of Boot.
Boot village offers two traditional Inns, the oldest working watermill in England, a local craft shop and a Post Office.
Eskdale is surrounded by the biggest, deepest, oldest and steepest in England!
