Greenhowe Luxury Lodges & Caravans offers fabulous self catering accommodation near Ambleside, nestled at the base of Great Langdale, a stunning valley. We are perfect for the ultimate Cumbrian getaway.

We have a range of lodges and caravans to choose from. All the properties offer luxury facilities and come with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. For most holiday homes, parking is available for 1 vehicle. All other vehicles must park in the car park. Onsite we also have The Laundry, offering washing machines, tumble dryers, iron and ironing board facilities, and hair dryers.

Lodges

We have 5 lodges to choose from: The Langdale Lodge, Side Pike Lodge, Lingmore Lodge, Bowfell Lodge and Loft Crag Lodge. The lodges sleep between 4 - 6 people. All the lodges come with comfortable bedrooms, including some with en suite facilities.

The living area has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of facilities: a full-sized cooker, extraction fan, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and wine cooler. Doors open to the veranda, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Caravans

There are 11 caravans available, sleeping 4 to 8 people. From a Europa Platinum to a Delta Super Gold, we have something for everyone. All the caravans include a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and gas cooker, plus a range of cooking utensils. Each caravan has at least 2 bedrooms and there is a shower room. Please note, due to the rural location, the TV signal cannot be guaranteed.

We are ideal for walkers, with lots of countryside walks to enjoy. You can visit Abbot Hal and browse the exhibitions or see the large range of marine life at Aquarium of the Lakes. The whole family can enjoy the Barrow Superbowl. Attractions to visit include:
