Bleatarn Park Holiday Cottages provides a range of self catering cottages within a restored barn. The dog friendly cottages are within the small hamlet of Irthington. It is only 15 minutes from the historic city of Carlisle. This is the ideal base for exploring Cumbria and all the interesting features it possesses.

Vallum:

This is a ground floor property that can accommodate 4 people in a double and adult sized bunk beds. The living space is open plan and equipped with LCD TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi and modern fittings in the kitchen. Outside is a patio area with a BBQ.

Fortress:

This cottage is also on the ground floor. It can accommodate 2 people in a double bedroom. Like Vallum the living areas are open plan and well equipped.

Stanegate:

This holiday cottage can sleep 3 in a double and single bedroom. Again the living space is fully fitted like the other cottages.

There is a separate utility/drying room available for washing clothes and drying walking gear etc.

The self catering cottages are close to many activities such as cycling. The Coast-to-Coast and Reivers Route are close by. Fishing is available at New Mills Trout Farm and Sea Fishing Cumbria.

There are a great many fantastic places to visit and things to see in easy commutable distance from Bleatarn Park. Places nearby include Carlisle Cathedral, Hadrian's Wall, Carlisle Castle and Guildhall Museum.
