Our magnificent hotel has 89 recently refurbished bedrooms available. We have several single, double, twin, triple, family and disabled friendly rooms to choose from. All the room come with superb facilities: TV, alarm clock and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel offers alternative guest accommodation in the Old Bathhouse within the hotel grounds. These are mainly double and twin bedded rooms The Old Bathhouse rooms enjoy views of the stream and woods.

The restaurant and bar will offer you a memorable dining experience. The Birkbeck Suite consists of two dining room experiences: the Birkbeck Restaurant and Lonsdale Room. The Birkbeck Restaurant seats up to 300 guests and boasts a view over the Birkbeck River and surrounding fells. The Lonsdale Room can host intimate dining parties. We have a 3 course a la carte menu and an extensive wine list available.

The Riverside Lounge and Bar is designed in a stylish art deco theme and enjoys views of Birkbeck River. The menu offers a range of dishes, including light meals and traditional bar meals. Guests can relax in The Salterwath and Fell Bar Lounges. These rooms have a library theme and are perfect for relaxing in. The Fell lounge comes with a 50’’ LCD flat screen TV.

Our hotel is surrounded by 30 acres of wooded grounds and surrounded by moorland, perfect for keen walkers. We also have a games room which comes with a snooker table, pool table, darts, table tennis and small aerobic gymnasium.
