Visitors to Beech Croft Farm will find a wealth of historic houses, delightful villages, busy market towns and a wide range of beautiful scenery within easy reach. The villages which nestle in the hollows of the Peak District National Park are numerous and well worth a visit.

Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Calke Abbey, Hardwick Hall, Lyme Hall and Kedleston Hall are all just a short drive away whilst the site is centrally located to visit Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton, Matlock, Ashbourne and Leek – each have something individual to offer.

The Spa Town of Buxton has beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings, a fine park, indoor shopping centre and a range of antiques and collectors fairs. Bakewell is, of course, home of the Bakewell Pudding and well worth exploring. Castleton takes its name from Peveril Castle, which dominates the village. There are a number of Caves to visit and the village is famous for its unique blue stone.

Matlock has a lot to offer and the spectacular location of Matlock Bath is the setting for a mining museum, cable car rides and show caves. Ashbourne and Leek are both lovely Market Towns which offer a good range of shops, art galleries, antique shops, pubs and restaurants.
