Clematis Cottage at Swardicott Farm is set in the heart of rural North Devon. The farm is ideal for a family to relax and explore in safety, with pretty woodland walks. There is also a games room and wendy house. The sole cottage also has exclusive use of an 8 seater hot tub which can be enjoyed in all weathers.

Many stretches of coast are within easy driving distance, as are a wide variety of North Devon's holiday attractions, covering multiple interests from walking and fishing to paintballing and karting.

Whatever you do, you return at the end of the day to stunning views of Dartmoor over the rolling Devon landscape enjoyed from the tranquillity of the garden, or you can take a stroll around the farm to see the lake and the wildlife in the fields.

A home away from home, the cottage offers every convenience to ensure you have a hassle-free stay and includes, but is not limited to, the following key facilities: widescreen (internet-enabled) TV, wifi internet access, dishwasher, washer-drier, large fridge freezer, electric double oven cooker and microwave.

Of the 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 upstairs bedrooms offer en-suite showers and the choice of double or twin beds, with a sofa bed available in one of them. The third upstairs bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom downstairs has the option of a double or twin and a sofa bed and the en-suite wet room is fully equipped for use by someone in a wheelchair.

There is a separate games room which is equipped with table tennis, snooker table and various games. Outdoor games include badminton and croquet. A barbecue is available.

There is ample car parking space and bicycles can be kept undercover. Dogs are welcome, usually a maximum of 2 but if more please give the owner a call to discuss. The cottage garden is enclosed.

Situated on the edge of Dartmoor, Swardicott Farm makes the perfect base for exploring all that Devon has to offer. Market towns such as Barnstaple and Bideford with their combination of old-world charm and modern shopping centres are ideal places to soak up the atmosphere of Devon.

Winding 180 miles through the North Devon countryside, the Tarka Trail rewards the more adventurous visitor with a view of the "The Land of Two Rivers" that has changed little since Henry Williamson wrote his famous novel Tarka the Otter. This can be accessed from Petrockstowe, approximately 3 miles drive away.

Renowned for some of the finest and cleanest beaches in Europe, including the Blue Flag awarded Woolacombe beach, North Devon makes a family holiday something special. Watersports including windsurfing, surf-skiing and canoeing can all be enjoyed on local beaches just a short drive from your cottage.
