Primrose Cottages are rural, cosy, welcoming, high quality self-catering cottages, situated in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Devon/Somerset border. Up Devon country lanes, high above the village of Upottery, on the western side of the Lace Town of Honiton within easy access to Exeter and Taunton and views to write home about. Our cottages sleep from 1 to 6 guests or can be booked as a group for a family get together. You can choose the facilities you need, with three out of the four cottages disabled accessible and all are dog-friendly.

With wonderful fields, hedgerows, woodlands and isolated farmsteads, this is peaceful rural living at its best. Thatched cottages, quaint village pubs and long country walks are the order of the day. You can just relax in our quality self-catering cottages, soak up the views and get to know all our friendly, bonkers, free-range animals. We do say that at Primrose Farm, the inmates run the asylum.

But if you want to venture further afield, our cottages are ideally placed for taking full advantage of the beautiful Counties of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. In 20 minutes you can be strolling along the Jurassic Coastline, take in the fresh sea air, walk along the cliffs or just relax on the many beaches.

And there's more. On 24th January 2017, Primrose Farm became the home of the famous Southdown Duvet and full range of wool bedding. So come and experience the utter luxury of the finest wool bedding on the market. Curious to hear more? Give Jessica and her sheep a call - the woolly ewes excel at meeting, greeting and bleating.

And especially for our canine guests, the Gables (sleeps 6) and Stargazer (sleeps 4) have their own private enclosed gardens so that last pit stop of the night or the early morning tinkle is as convenient as they come.
