Woodovis Park is a small, safe and peaceful 5 star holiday park situated in Tavistock, Devon nestled on the edge of Devon’s Tamar Valley - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated World Heritage Site.

It’s ideally located for exploring the West Country, with endless places to visit and things to do on your holiday. We’re close to Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of the UK’s most dramatic coastlines and beaches.

Our shop stocks most things you’ll need on your holiday, from shampoo to Champagne! Lots of local produce: free range eggs, butchers’ meat, jams and pickles, and of course, Dartmoor Farm clotted cream ice cream!

You can go easy on the cooking with breakfast baked in the shop and it’s only a short stroll to a great local pub for dinner. After all that hard work, you’ll probably want to relax in the free hot tub.

Enjoy the option of self catering either in Woodovis Cottage or one of the luxury caravan holiday homes that are available at Woodovis Park. Woodovis Cottage is a beautiful traditional Devon stable building.

There are four types of luxury caravan holiday homes; all sleeping up to six people. All our holiday homes are fully heated and have a full sized cooker, microwave, a flat screen TV/DVD and outside seating for dining al fresco dining.

The Finch is our most affordable option but dos not compromise on quality or comfort.

The Finch, Super Finch and Deluxe Finch have a double and twin bedroom with the Super Robin having a double and two twin bedrooms. With more space, the Super Finch also has a ‘Jack and Jill’ style bathroom attached to the main bedroom for your extra comfort.

The Deluxe Finch is more spacious again with comfortable sofa style seating and comes fully centrally heated and double glazed with build in fridge/freezer.

A travel cot or highchair is available to use free of charge.

The cost of your holiday includes all your gas, electricity and bedding and free use of the facilities on the park.

We have camping pitches for all types of tents and all types of camper. Every pitch offers level ground, clean shower/toilet areas and unlimited use of our award-winning leisure facilities. Choose from two fields:

Top Field is close to all facilities and the children’s play area.

Tamar View Field backs on to the wooded dog walk and feels more secluded and spacious. (The furthest pitch is still only 300m from all facilities.)

The indoor heated swimming pool is a great place to relax and have fun with the whole family or pamper yourself and unwind in the spa pool. It’s available for use for everyone at Woodovis: camping, holiday homes, self catering or touring, you’re all welcome. It’s also completely free.

Our beautiful wooded walk is made up of almost 300 young trees. It iss a lovely place to take a stroll to lead your dog to our lower meadow where they are safe to allow off the lead and run free as nature intended. A great spot to view buzzards and often ducks, geese and sheep in the lower field.

Relax while your little ones go wild in our safe wood chipped play area. There’s a climbing frame, play house, slide, baby swings and even a friendly old tractor that the grown-ups seem to love as much as the children.

No matter where you go travelling, ‘the games room’ always holds an importance way above its station. At Woodovis Park, the games room always turns in to a meeting point for children making new holiday friends and a battle arena as parents desperately try to beat their offspring at pool, table football, air hockey, pinball and giant Connect 4!

It should be law: a campsite must have an outdoor table tennis table. There’s more fun and laughter generated from this simple addition to our park than almost anything else. Bats are free to borrow and you can buy balls from our cute, retro vending machine.

We have our very own Doggie Spa for those perfect pampered pooches! Organic doggie shampoo, warm water and even a hairdryer for our furry friends! Free of charge during your stay here at Woodovis.

There’s so much to do in Devon & Cornwall, you could spend a lifetime just touching the surface – and Woodovis is right in the centre of it all.
