Laverstock Farm offers fabulous self catering accommodation in Bridport, nestled in a gorgeous well-kept estate at the end of a long sweeping driveway in rural west Dorset. You can choose from a magnificent country house, six holiday cottages, a modern cabin and 2 shepherd’s huts.

We are surrounded by unspoilt countryside with access to many footpaths. From Laverstock you can walk for hours through acres of private woodland and follow footpaths to Dorset’s two highest hills. A stream passes alongside the wood which makes for a perfect place to rest or picnic and absorb the tranquillity and natural beauty of Laverstock. Laverstock Farm enjoys far-reaching views over the Marshwood Vale and out to sea.

Granary Cottage - Sleeps 4: This lovely 2-bed period cottage comes with a patio and garden for al fresco dining, a modern kitchen, dining area and a cosy snug sitting room. Upstairs there is a double and twin room which share a family bathroom.

Laverstock Cottage - Sleeps 4: Our tastefully refurbished 4 bedroom cottage has a private enclosed garden and offers stunning views. Two log burners ensure you are toasty in the winter months. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table seats 8. Bedrooms consists of two king and two twin room. Upstairs there are two bathrooms.

Lambrook Cottage – Sleeps 4: This wonderful cottage comes with a lovely open plan kitchen/dining area and a living room with a toasty wood burner. Bedrooms consist of a bunk and double room which share a family bathroom on the ground floor, plus two double en suite rooms on the first floor.

Admiral’s Cottage – Sleeps 3: Our beautiful ground level cottage has a private garden and terrace which enjoys glorious views. Unwind in the cosy living area and the kitchen comes with a range of appliances. Bedrooms consist of a king room and a single room.

Fern Hill Cabin – Sleeps 2: This quirky shepherd’s hut comes with a luxurious hot tub and sleeps 2 in a king-size bed. The living area has a log burner and there is a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower.

Gardener’s Cottage – Sleeps 2: Our wonderful, renovated cottage sleeps 2 in a king en suite room. The open plan living area has a modern integrated kitchen, armchair, sofa and dining table.

The Apple Loft – Sleeps 2: This large self-contained loft has open beams and wooden floors, overlooking a mature orchard. This one-bed double bedroom studio includes a king-size double bed, modern integrated kitchen (with oven, hob and fridge), armchair, sofa and dining table.

Herwick Hut – Sleeps 2: Our modern shepherd’s hut sleeps 2 and has electric lighting and an electric hob for cooking, and two plug sockets in the kitchen hut. Washing up facilities, shower and a toilet are in the washroom a short walk away.

Everdene Hut: Sleeps 2: This newly built shepherd’s hut sleeps two and boasts far-reaching views. There’s no electricity in the hut but you’ll be given lanterns which can be recharged in the washroom. There is a shared washroom located approximately 100m from the hut with a walk-in shower and WC. There is also a small kitchen unit with a sink and draining board. There is also a fridge and sockets to charge the lanterns here.

Parnham Cottage – Sleeps 5: Our 2-bedroom period cottage comes with a private terrace and offers glorious views over the countryside. The cottage sleeps has a sofa bed, a king-size double en suite room and a twin room. The modern bathroom has a bath with a powered shower over the bath. The comfy sitting room has an electric fireplace and there is a fully-equipped kitchen.

The Grange – Sleeps 8: This lovely newly converted period barn conversion has a spacious open plan kitchen with a dining table that seats 8. The living room has a log burner for the winter months. On the ground floor there is a king en suite room and on the first floor there are two further bedrooms. Outside there is a private terrace with a garden table and chairs.

Highfield Cottage – Sleeps 4: This large 2-bedroom cottage comes with a private garden, well-equipped kitchen and comfy sitting room with a log burner. The master bedroom has a king room and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms share a bathroom.

6 Driftwood – Sleeps 4: Our ground floor apartment sleeps 4 and comes with a lovely open plan living and kitchen area and two bedrooms: one double and a twin. Both rooms share a family bathroom.

At Laverstock we have a games room available for guests with table tennis, table football, air hockey and a pool table. This is a communal facility, great for those rainy days.
