Golden Acre offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the small village of Eype near Bridport in Dorset. Golden Acre is a private chalet park that has its own beach that dogs are welcome on all year round.

We are the perfect place to escape from the pressure of modern life, surrounded by stunning scenery. We have 5 properties available, all great for a relaxing getaway. The cottages are well-equipped and come with a variety of excellent facilities.

Ammonite Lodge: This charming bungalow has an en suite bathroom and a cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Outside there is a seating area and a fully-enclosed garden for your four legged friend to run around in.

The Jurassic Suite: Our wonderful bungalow has a double en suite room, a twin room and a separate shower room. A lovely open kitchen/dining area has doors that open onto the enclosed garden.

The Marine Suite: This gorgeous bungalow has a double en suite and twin en suite room. The fully equipped kitchen/dining area is open plan. Outside there is an enclosed garden area.

The Garden Suite: Our superb bungalow comes with a master en suite, twin room and separate shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden.

The Jurassic Sea Pearl Suite: This large lodge has two en suite bedrooms, plus to TV lounge area to relax in, including one with a sofa bed. The kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm. The suite also boasts exclusive use of an integrated SPA room, offering a private spa, heated lounger and 12-jet extra large jacuzzi bath, and infra red sauna.

The beach is the perfect place to go walking with your dog, fossil hunting and fishing. For any keen anglers there are mackerel boats located close by in West Bay, Lyme Regis and Weymouth. The Jurrasic Coast is located close to the self catering accommodation where there are breathtaking views and beautiful walks. The village of Eype has an excellent pub where dogs are welcome meaning you can enjoy a meal without having to leave your pets behind.
