Hillyground Cottage Holidays offers self catering accommodation located close to the town of Sturminster Newton in Dorset. The self catering cottages are in an ideal location for walking, fishing and cycling.

We have two cottages to choose from, Rose Cottage and Jasmine Cottage. Our single storey cottages have been converted from outbuildings and enjoy a rustic character.

Each cottage sleeps up to three people in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a super king size bed that can be made into two single beds if needed and the second room has a single bed. The rooms share the use of a bathroom that has a shower, toilet and wash basin.

The kitchen/dining area/living room is open plan offering plenty of space and light. The kitchen area is well equipped offering an electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The living room area is comfortable with a TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player. All of the rooms have electric heating.

At the front of the holiday cottages there is a beautiful garden where you can walk your pets on leads, and behind the cottages there is a large field where pets can play off the lead.

Dorset has a lot to offer for all ages including many historical houses and beautiful gardens including the popular Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens where you will see a range of rare and exotic plants from all over the world. Of course Dorset is also famous for the Jurassic Coast which is an eighty five miles stretch of coastline where there are beautiful walks. The coastline includes unspoilt beaches and stunning scenery such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
