Acton Field Campsite in Langton Matravers offers pitches for campers and tourers in a stunning location, boasting amazing views of Swanage Bay, the Purbeck Hills and the Isle of Wight. Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Dorset, we are ideal for an unforgettable holiday.

Our scenic site is set in gorgeous rural surroundings and enjoys glorious views, a true haven for outdoor lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. We have 3 hectares of gently sloping pastures, including some campervan/motorhome/caravan pitches with electric hook up. All water onsite is drinkable and please note we do not allow open or wood fires. For this coming season, there will only be reserved pitches. Onsite facilities include:

Flush toilets.

Showers.

Electric point in ladies.

Shaver point in gents.

Freezer for ice packs.

Phone charging booths (£1 a charge).

washing up sinks.

Disposal point and some electric points.

Showers 20p for 2 min shower.

We are in a fantastic position for exploring the area. A gentle one-mile walk through grass and wildflowers will take you to the coastal path. Just a short stroll away is The Square and Compass Pub and the local village pub The Kings Arms Pub, both great places for a drink or two. Within easy reach are the majestic beaches of Swanage and Studland. Golfers are spoilt for choice, with Purbeck Golf Club, Wareham Golf Club and Bulbury Woods Golf Club all dotted around the Isle of Purbeck. Excellent attractions to visit include:
