Sitting in a bay overlooking the beach, surrounded by farmland and rolling hills, Sandgreen really is the perfect spot to enjoy this stunning region of Scotland. Gatehouse is right in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway which has so much to offer visitors; fantastic restaurants serving great local produce, extreme sports, wildlife and birds, walks, kids activities, an abundance of golf courses, tennis courts and not forgetting the many boutique shops in the picturesque towns of Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright, all located just a short drive from Sandgreen.

Sandgreen is surrounded by beautiful idyllic scenery, perfect for dog walking and reconnecting with nature. Our luxury hire fleet caravans come fully equipped and offer fantastic views over the Solway coast.

Here at Sandgreen, we are very welcoming of dogs (max 3) at an additional price of £30 per dog, they’ll even get their own welcome pack!

Following the recent COVID-19 pandemic, in order to minimise risk both to our own staff and to our valued customers, we have taken the decision to no longer supply towels or bed linen to our hire fleet units. Please arrange to bring your own towels and bed linen with you for your stay with us.

Our lets are weekly and the season is determined by the start date of your break.
