The Fernhill Hotel overlooking the Scottish harbour town of Portpatrick is justly proud of its Conservatory Restaurant. The menu using the best of local seafood, game and poultry, changes daily, and offers the house speciality of fresh Mull of Galloway Lobster, when in season. Traditionally creel caught in grade A waters around the Mull by local fishermen, this delicacy is fresh on a daily basis direct from the hotel's holding facility.
Our team is dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment, and will gladly cater for all diets, children's high tea and any special requests.
The convivial atmosphere of the attractive cocktail bar adjoining the conservatory makes it the perfect place to meet for pre dinner drinks.
With Golf available at 4 local courses: Stranraer, Portpatrick (Dunskey), Wigtownshire County (Glenluce) and Cally Palace - Fernhill is the ideal base for golfing parties.
The Fernhill a 3 star Hotel sits in its own private and secluded gardens, with wonderful views of the Village and Harbour beyond. On entering the Hotel for the first time, the picturesque view is enough to take your breath away - on a clear day the coast of Ireland can be seen.
Once the Main Ferry port to Ireland, Portpatrick is now the proud holder of the title "the Jewel in the Crown of Galloway" and is today a bustling yacht and fishing village with attractive craft shops and friendly harbour side pubs.
