Llanquian Farm Holidays are a pair of self catering cottages nestled in a stunning part of Glamorgan. Our accommodation lies in a peaceful valley in the village of Aberthin, which is less than 2 miles from the market town of Cowbridge. The cottages are set on our 22 acre farm which lies at the foot of the Cowbridge Downs.

Our cottages have been tastefully refurbished with care and attention to detail retaining many of the original features.

Rose Cottage gets its name from the deep pink roses that climb around the door. It is the larger of our two cottages and can sleep up to 4 people. There is a double room and a twin room, both of which are made ready for your arrival. A fully fitted pine kitchen equipped with washer dryer is the ideal place to sit and plan your day. The comfortable lounge has patio windows which open out onto a private lawned garden. Beyond is a wooded area which leads down to the lake, where you can sit and watch the geese and ducks.

Mallard Cottage sleeps 4 and has an elegant double bedroom with a four poster bed and a smaller twin room. The double bedroom has a large bathroom fitted with WC, basin, bath, shower and electric shaver point whilst the twin room has a shower rather than a bath. An open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area with original stone walls has a reclaimed pine kitchen table with a marble top.

Our cottages are perfect for those who want to escape the noise of city life. The grounds also provide ample opportunity for relaxation, picnics, sunbathing, ball games and exploring. For the fisherman, there are trout and coarse fishing lakes two miles away. There is easy access to the capital city of Cardiff and the beaches and walks of the Heritage Coastline lie only 6 miles or so to the south.
