The Llŷn Peninsula is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and stretches out from Snowdonia 30 miles into the Irish Sea. Benefiting from the Gulf Stream with warmer sea temperatures and a mild, drier climate than much of the rest of North Wales, Llŷn is the ideal place to get away from the stresses and strains of modern-day life. With nearly 100 miles of coastline, a series of volcanic hills inland (many with iron-age hill forts), and many attractive villages the peninsula has become a firm favourite as a holiday destination.

Snowdonia National Park is just a short drive from Parc Wernol. Known for its majestic mountains and stunning scenery Snowdonia has more than just walking to offer! There are a wealth of attractions to suit all weather conditions all groups. There are narrow gauge railways, slate caverns, an Italian Village and even a power station underneath a mountain, all of which and more can be explored in Snowdonia!
