Colwyn Lodge is a beautiful log lodge set on the banks of the Afon (River) Colwyn by the edge of Beddgelert Forest, a short distance from the centre of the picturesque village of Beddgelert in the very heart of the Snowdonia National Park. The lodge is within the grounds of Hafod Wydr Farm, where we make our home.

The farm nestles between the peaks of Snowdon and Moel Hebog and provides access to the vast forest and mountain walks. This, along with the river on your doorstep, fishing rights and full direct access to forest mountain bike routes, makes it a very special destination, one which provides a quiet and private experience and the ideal base for a holiday.

The holiday accommodation, which is non-smoking, comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area with log effect gas fire, one double en-suite bedroom and wood flooring throughout.

There is a well-equipped kitchen area, which includes gas cooker, refrigerator, kettle and toaster along with microwave and space for boots and coats. There is also private car parking and safe bike store.

All linen is provided (this includes towels). All the basics are also included; washing up liquid, tea, coffee and a selection of condiments. The Lodge is fitted with modern electric radiators.

We also offer free Wifi access and Freeview television. There are DVD and CD players and a selection of books and games. We are more than happy to accept pets at no extra charge and any items you may require (dog bowls and towels etc) are available upon request.

We feel that having the ability to bring your pets on holiday with you is vitally important. So all of our accommodation is pet friendly and, more importantly, is at no additional cost.

If required, we can provide you with pet bedding and towels, but more often than not pets prefer to have their own. Dog bowls are provided as standard and, just to get their holiday off to a good start, they will have a few treats here to welcome them.

Being on the edge of Beddgelert Forest, there are miles of tracks, lakes and rivers to explore without getting in the car. But if you do want to venture further afield, there are a number of beaches within a 15-minute drive that allow pets all year round. The private garden with direct access to the river makes Colwyn Lodge the perfect destination for you and your pets to relax and enjoy. We try to accommodate unlimited pets, within reason.
