The Oven Campsite is family friendly site on Hayling Island, Hampshire. The campsite is a pet friendly campsite with roughly 350 pitches available. This is the perfect campsite for families looking for a break on the island that is packed with activities.

Our wonderful site is spacious and offers facilities for tents, campervans, caravans and mobile home rentals. We are ideal for savouring the gorgeous coastline and stunning local countryside.

Excellent facilities onsite include a 24-hour access toilet and shower block, a well-stocked shop, cafe and outdoor swimming pool. Children can enjoy the play area, football field and pool table. We also have entertainment at weekends and throughout the school holidays for children.

We are ideally situated, near to the sea with excellent water sports available close by as well as the two main villages of Mengham and West Town with their local shops and pubs, not forgetting of course the seafront beaches and the Fairground, Plenty to do for everyone.

The southern part of Hayling is the part of the island best known by holidaymakers, and is a combination of town and country with the settlements of West Town, Gable Head and Eastoke spreading to meet each other but with fields, farms, woods and the sea all within easy reach. Its main attraction for visitors is of course its wonderful coastline, over four miles of it. Part of the beach, at West Beachlands, now boasts two European Blue Flags, the Tidy Britain Group's Premier Resort Seaside Award.

Hayling is an excellent touring base for the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu, Chichester and the surrounding countryside and has easy access to motorways and the continental ferry port at Portsmouth. Golf, fishing, cycling, walking, horse riding, kite surfing and wind surfing are just a few of the many activities you can take part in on the Island.
