The Trusty Servant Inn in Minstead, The New Forest, offers wonderful guesthouse accommodation in a traditional country pub. Situated in a charming country village overlooking the green, we are the perfect place to stay for peace and relaxation.

Our pet friendly guesthouse offers a range of wonderful bedrooms to choose from family, single and double rooms. The bedrooms enjoy views of either the quaint village green where ponies and donkeys roam or the pretty back garden.

A hearty full English breakfast is included in the price.

Wonderful food is served in our country pub. We serve locally sourced food which includes sharing starters, small and large portions of light snacks and main menu dishes. Sumptuous puddings and local New Forest Ice Creams finish off the tasty meals if you have enough room for desserts! The real ales are local and the fine wines complement the menu dishes. We also have roaring log fires to relax and unwind in front of on a winter’s evening.

Outside is a large back garden with its own outside barn (suitable for gatherings, parties, music events and even weddings).

It is easy to see why Minstead is one of the visited and least spoilt villages in the heart of The New Forest. It is surrounded by forest, with thatched cottages and many high banked lanes but just off the A31, but a special place that is completely isolated from the outside world. The 13th Century church with its own fireplace, luxury pew also is home to the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s grave nestled under a large oak tree in the graveyard.
