Thatch Close Cottages are set in a peaceful and secluded location with lovely views over South Herefordshire.

The three self catering cottages have achieved an English Tourist Board rating of 4 Star gold to 5 Stars. And have a National Accessibility Grading up to V2, H2, M1 and M3.

The cottages are converted barns that have been lovingly restored by local craftsman, incorporating contemporary design and traditional architecture using locally sourced materials. There are 12 acres of meadow, re-wilded for over 20 years, ideal for guests and dogs to explore.

All have reclaimed solid wood flooring, under floor heating, en suite shower rooms, double glazing and an air purification system. They also contain Smart HD TVs, Blu-Ray players and free Wi-Fi.

The three fully equipped kitchens contain an electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and a dishwasher.

Ample level parking is available alongside the barns. The use of a cot is available at no extra cost. Linen and towels are provided free. There is no charge for electricity. All the cottages have dog secure areas.

A welcome basket will be waiting to greet you; this will contain a few basics to get you started.

In total cottages sleep: 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 people – as separate bookings.

The grounds lie within an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Symonds’s Yat, The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. The towns of Monmouth, Ross on Wye, Hereford and the Marches Castles are easily accessible along with unspoilt spectacular countryside.
