Croft Holidays offers guests 3 self catering cottages in a quiet location above Newtonmore with stunning views. These cottages, in Strone, are around 10 minutes walk from the amenities in Newtonmore - which has retained the character of a traditional village of the Scottish Highlands. The cottages are separate and share a washing /drying room and garden. There is free wifi.

Loft Cottage: This self catering cottage is the largest of the three. The bedrooms comprise an upstairs family bedroom with a kingsize and two single beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room which can also be used as sleeping accommodation. This self catering cottage can also be linked with Barn Cottage so booked together can sleep 7.

Barn Cottage: This self catering cottage is a ground floor cottage and is our most popular. There is a living/dining/kitchen room and a single futon available if needed. This holiday cottage can be linked to Loft cottage which can sleep 7 people altogether.

Stable Cottage: This holiday cottage is also ground floor. Stable Cottage is suitable for wheelchair access. There is an open plan living space which contains twin beds and a small bedroom with two bunk beds. Outside there is a shared garden.

The local area is good for walking, climbing, skiing, biking, fishing, golf, gliding, sailing, horse riding, and much else besides. The Newtonmore “Wild Cat Trail' can be joined 200m from the cottages. This year there are over 120 decorative wildcats positioned throughout the village. For the more active, the cottages lie at the feet of the Monadhliath mountains and make an ideal base for Munro trips to Creag Meagaidh, the Cairngorms and Drumochter hills. It is also superb for mountain biking, with trips from the door.
