Laythams Holiday Lets Retreat offers self catering accommodation situated at Slaidburn and just a short drive from Clitheroe in Lancashire. We have 4 lovely self catering cottages in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for those wishing to explore everything the area has to offer; two of which accept pets. The 73 km Bowland Bridleway even crosses through Laythams land.

The Farm House offers a traditional pet friendly family holiday cottage with cosy rooms and an open fire. The house also boasts a state of the art kitchen, a games room with pool table and a large, warm, upstairs living room with a snug open log fire and HD TV with a full Sky package for the movie or sports enthusiast. There is use of a walled garden as well as the spacious yard which has several seating areas to enjoy the magnificent country views as well as BBQ facilities. The walled yard is safe for children and has free range chickens wandering around and sheep just over the wall.

The Cottage is the perfect small family hub or multi couple retreat. This cosy cottage is the ideal space for the outdoors loving family or adventurous couples. Outside there is use of a walled garden as well as the spacious yard which has several seating areas to enjoy the magnificent countryside views as well as BBQ facilities. This walled yard is safe for children and has free range chickens wandering around and sheep just over the wall.

Our beautiful 16th century longhouse combines two lovely self catering pet friendly holiday cottages: the Farmhouse & the Cottage, interconnecting neatly on both levels. The longhouse also contains the Hayloft, ideal for romantic getaways. The spaces are designed to be closed off or open to each other depending on your own group’s needs and requirements. Each part of the house can easily be separated off to allow extra privacy (ideal if several generations of a family) or kept as one open house. There is plenty of room for group meals with the added advantage of two separate kitchens and two large reception rooms to watch TV or relax. There is also a pool table downstairs for everyone’s enjoyment.

This cosy cottages are located in what seems at first appearance to be in the middle of nowhere but is in fact located close (less than 2 miles) to two old traditional villages, Slaidburn and Newton-in-Bowland, each with stone cottages and a charming traditional pub.
