Quayside Cottage is a cosy self catering holiday home which is situated opposite the River Esk, with good views of Whitby Harbour in North Yorkshire. Our holiday home is adjacent to two further holiday homes called Boatyard Cottage and Cuddy Cottage, which can be let together to accommodate a party of 12 people.

This spacious Georgian stone cottage has been renovated to a high standard but still boasts period features such as cast-iron fireplaces, polished wooden floors and stripped pine doors. We boast glorious harbour views from the front first-floor window.

Our cottage has a fabulous 21-foot lounge/diner with a leather sofa and living flame fire, perfect for relaxing in after a day sightseeing. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer, a double bedroom with en suite shower room and a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby is built on both banks of the mouth of the River Esk. In Whitby, there is a delightful mixture of pretty old cottages, grand Victorian houses, shops, pubs and restaurants. Great attractions to visit include:
