West Leas Farm is located in a lovely part of the North Yorkshire countryside, outside of Ripon near Galphay and offers 5 self catering holiday homes that are suitable for couples, families and friends. Our holiday cottages can accommodate up to 16 people when letting collectively.

Granary – The most popular of our holiday cottages as it is a cosy retreat for 2.

Archway – Our large cottage that features the classic arch of the barn door and enjoys beautiful views. Sleeps 4 in a double and a twin room.

The Byre – Sleeps 4 in a large double and smaller twin bedroom, both of which are south facing.

The Old Milk House – A traditional cottage that has an oak and marble kitchen with solid oak flooring. It sleeps up 2 in a twin bedded room.

The Stable – A well appointed holiday cottage sleeping 2 in a twin bedroom.

Each garden has its own private fully fenced dog proof garden and each garden leads to a larger shared garden which in turn has two gates leading to open farm field.

Parking to unload right outside the cottages and the farm lane is private and quiet only used by people staying on the farm so perfect for quiet morning or early walks.

We can accommodate groups of up to 14 plus toddler/child/baby if renting all cottages together, great for family get together.

Close by are the villages of Kirkby Malzeard and Galphay, both of which are easily walkable. Kirkby has a newsagent, doctor's surgery, tea room, butchers, chip shop and garage. You can visit Galphay, a popular pub in Kirkby which is dog friendly with log fires and a sheltered garden terrace. There are both Anglican and Methodist churches in Kirkby Malzeard. Footpaths lead directly off the farm and there are plenty of lovely walks, including bridle paths and green lanes. We provide a map of the farm and indicate footpaths for you.
