We have an array of luxurious properties available, with all enjoying outstanding views of the Esk Valley. All the properties are beautifully furnished and come with record players, vinyl records, board and card games, great for a cosy night in. The Piggery:

Built-in 1821, this wonderful dog friendly holiday cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and is an oasis of calm. It has original beams and a beautiful stone fireplace that creates a wonderful and cosy atmosphere to return to after a busy day exploring. There is a comfortable lounge and the kitchen is fully equipped offering everything you will need.

Cowslip Cottage:

Cowslip Cottage is an ideal place for friends and families to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The spacious open plan living, cooking and eating area makes a wonderful relaxing social room, two bedrooms and a shower room with toilet are on the first floor with a luxurious en suite master bedroom on the top floor, with a free-standing bath in the bedroom.

Cowslip Retreat:

Cowslip Retreat is a bolthole for two people, perfect for either a long weekend away from it all or for a delightful honeymoon hide-away. The spacious, open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove has a kitchen area and a bedroom area with a double bed. The bathroom has a bath with separate shower cubicle, sink and toilet.

Ewelands House:

Ewelands House has 3 bedrooms and is an ideal place for friends and families to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This holiday cottage had breathtaking views of the glorious Esk Valley and North Yorkshire Moors. Inside there is a lovely open plan area and a gorgeous king room on the top floor.

Ewelands Retreat:

Ewelands Retreat is a stunning holiday cottage that you can return to once you have explored the local area. There is a lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen to suit all your needs. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the lavish king size bed.

The self cateirng properties are located in the village of Sleights. Sleights offers great facilities including a general store, butchers (with a Delia recommended deli), two pubs offering bar meals, post office, fish and chips, tea room and a bakers.

Just next door is the village of Ruswarp with rowing boats on the River Esk. Whitby is less than 4 miles away and has a good range of shops, restaurants, galleries and other services and entertainments. The historic seaside town has recently been voted "Best Day Out" in the Tourism Awards.
