Sinnington Common Farm Cottages offers various holiday cottages on our working farm within 135 acres. We are situated at Kirkbymoorside on the North Yorkshire Moors.

Penny's Place & Bruno's Lodge: The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and clock/radio alarms; en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, heated towel rail; sitting room with remote control LCD TV with Freeview and built-in DVD player, and dining area tastefully furnished in pine; small well-equipped kitchen (including microwave, fridge & full-sized cooker). Both cottages are double glazed throughout and have central heating provided by our biomass boiler which burns our own coppice willow. Penny’s Place has a cosy wood-burning stove. Outside there is plenty of off-road parking and each cottage has its own garden furniture. Prices include heating, electricity, linen, towels & wi-fi.

The Chalet: Our well-equipped Norwegian Log cabin is in a slightly elevated position with views of open fields from the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. Kitchen includes a large fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a bed settee in the sitting room & a flat-screen LCD TV with DVD player. One twin bedroom. Family bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. Double bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom with a bath. French windows open onto a verandah with barbecue and garden furniture, at a lower level (ramped) is a patio with views across the farm. The Chalet is built from solid log in a classic Scandinavian style and has the benefits of double glazing and central heating provided by our biomass boiler which burns our own coppice willow. Free wireless internet is also available.

Annie's Cottage: This is in a secluded position overlooking fields. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the veranda. The central living space incorporates kitchen (including microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and full-sized cooker), dining area with pine table and chairs and large living area equipped with two comfortable sofas, TV, DVD player and wood-burning stove. French doors open on to the veranda and grassed area. Annie’s has a double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom with shower and heated towel rail) and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and dressing tables. The house bathroom has a bath with shower. The lodge is double glazed throughout and has central heating provided by our biomass boiler which burns our own coppice willow. Outside there is a large veranda with garden furniture and plenty of off-road parking. Prices include heating, electricity, linen, towels and wi-fi.

Greystones: This is a detached bungalow with its own large, private garden just adjacent to Sinnington Common Farm, offering the following accommodation for up to 6 people. Double bedroom with a window at each end offering splendid views of open countryside and en-suite bathroom with shower. Twin bedroom with zip and link beds, which can be zipped together to make a super king-size double. Large en-suite bathroom with a second door into the hallway. Spacious lounge with double bed-settee, TV with Freeview and DVD player, open fire, dining area. Spectacular views from all windows. Large fully equipped dining kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, and microwave. The bungalow is double-glazed throughout and has gas central heating. Outside is a large garden with garden furniture and barbeque and off-road parking. All prices include heating, electricity, linen and towels.

There is plenty to see and do in the area including Castles and Abbeys, National Trust properties, the Yorkshire coast and Duncombe Park.
