Uplands House is a delightful place overlooking an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the village of Upton which is close to Banbury. This dog friendly bed and breakfast stands in a beautiful garden, amidst lush parkland planted with majestic trees and it is hidden away down a long drive in the glorious Oxfordshire countryside. This is a great base from which to explore and discover the Cotswolds. Everything you will want to see is within easy driving distance.

We have an array of luxurious bedrooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. You can choose from a lavish four poster room offering outstanding views, a twin/super king room with Chippendale beds and a king room with a fine antique pair of Louix VI bedside cabinets.

The guest bedrooms are all en suite and include a TV, tea/coffee trays and biscuits, still and carbonated water, a clock radio with docking station, a blow heater, a torch, a hot water bottle, a charging plug for laptops, a notepad and electric blanket.

In the morning, you can look forward to a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. We offer freshly squeezed orange juice, muesli or cereals, followed by a range of cooked options. Breakfast is accompanied by plenty of toast with a good selection of homemade jams and marmalades.

There is a wonderful evening meal available most days for an additional price. We cater for all dietary requirements.

The house stands in its own lovely tranquil garden. There is a large lawn, suitable for croquet and badminton, a very pretty rose garden with a waterfall and a fishpond. Elsewhere scented roses, hedges of lavender and tangles of clematis, wisteria and honeysuckle provide a haven for wild birds. There are secluded places to sit and ponder.

This dog friendly bed and breakfast is the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. There are many attractions to visit close by including Warwick Castle, Charlecote Park, Sudeley Castle, Sulgrave Manor and Broughton Castle.
