Wellstone Cottages are tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Nantyweirglodd Isaf, only a short drive from the North Pembrokeshire coast. There are miles of beautiful coastal and inland walks for you to enjoy and we are situated on the edge of the Preseli Hills which are famous for its wild flowers and breathtaking scenery. Staying at Wellstone Cottages will give you the best of both worlds - coast and country.

We are based in 23 acres of gorgeous, landscaped grounds, woodland and pasture, with a babbling stream trickling down to the River Taf, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are beautiful walks as soon as you step out of your cottage. The disused Cardi Bach railway line runs along the bottom of the estate and is ideal for taking a stroll through the beautiful tree-lined dappled sunshine and letting your dogs of the lead to enjoy the upper reaches of the River Taf as it wends through the welsh countryside. There is also woodland, pasture and a lake for you and your pets to while away the hours. There is also a pub less than a mile away.

Onsite we also have two hot tubs for guests, great for soaking away your troubles. You can meet our lovely collection of animals, including alpacas, pygmy goats, geese ducks and hens.

Ivy Cottage – Sleeps 2:

Our charming detached stone holiday cottage offers superb views of the grounds and includes an open plan lounge, diner and kitchen with a gas cooker and microwave oven. There is a good-sized king room, with the bed made up for your arrival. The cottage also has a shower room with a toilet, wash hand basin and shower. The cottage has a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Honeysuckle – Sleeps 4:

This cosy semi-detached stone cottage has a pretty cottage garden to unwind in with a glass or two. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, gas hob and a dining area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, including a double and a twin, with beds made up for your arrival. There is also a bathroom containing a bath with shower over, toilet and wash hand basin. The side patio has a BBQ and garden furniture which overlooks the lovely grounds.

Jasmine Cottage – Sleeps 6:

Our delightful period cottage is brimming with original features whilst offering modern accommodation. The entrance hall leads through to a cosy lounge with a wood burner, and a separate well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. There are three well-proportioned bedrooms one of which is a twin-bedded room on the ground floor. There is also a ground floor shower room with a wash hand basin and toilet. Stairs lead to two further bedrooms. A bathroom comes with a bath, toilet and washes hand basin on the first floor. The back door leads from the kitchen to your own patio with BBQ and garden furniture overlooking the beautiful grounds.

Coach House – Sleeps 12 :

This spacious semi-detached stone cottage is great for families, parties or groups looking for a country escape. Inside there is a fantastic open plan kitchen/dining with lavish leather sofas, a large dining table and a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. The house boasts modern furnishings and artwork, plus a 50’’ TV and Bluetooth speaker. In total, there are 5 bedrooms, including a ground-floor double room and a family room with a double and bunk beds. Stairs lead to 3 further bedrooms. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: large gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. Outside there is a patio with a BBQ and garden furniture.

We are in the ideal location for exploring the area, only 12 miles from the glorious Pembrokeshire coast and just 3 miles from the Preseli Mountains. Only 25 minutes away is Cardigan Bay and further afield you can visit the cathedral city of St Davids. Alternatively, head to the bustling harbour town of Teny or see the amazing puffins and renowned birdlife on Skomer Island.
