Details

Groom’s Cottage is our self-catering holiday accommodation at Pardlestone Farm, which is tucked into the folds of Somerset’s Quantock Hills, the west country’s least known yet most accessible unspoilt wilderness. Perfect as a base for walking, horse riding and mountain biking, it’s only a few hundred yards along our sleepy no-through lane and on to the hills, just over half a mile to Kilve village shop and dog-friendly pub, and a mile on from the village is the fossil-rich Kilve beach.

The cottage sleeps four in two double bedrooms; it is well-equipped, including with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and the bathroom has both a shower and bath. We also have further accommodation in our farmhouse B&B. Visitors are welcome to bring dogs (cottage only) and bikes (we have storage and washing facilities) and we have turnout and stabling for horses (by arrangement).

Changeover days in Groom’s Cottage are Monday or Friday, so breaks of three or four nights are available, as well as full weeks or more. There’s a 10% discount for seven nights or more, (outside school summer holidays).

Although Pardlestone Farm and Groom’s Cottage feel a world away from the hubbub of modern life, we are just an hour’s drive from Bristol (M4/M5 intersection) and closer to London and Birmingham than Devon or Cornwall.

We would love to welcome you here – please do view more details on our website at www.pardlestonefarm.co.uk and read our reviews, including on Tripadvisor, where we have a 2021 Travelers Choice Award.

Rates: From £79 per night for up to four people.
