The Four Horseshoes is a 12th Century inn offering guest accommodation and great food located in the village of Thornham Market, just 3.5 miles from Eye in Suffolk.

Our chefs use locally sourced, fresh ingredients to offer a range of homemade dishes. Our style of traditional British meals, combined with daily specials and light bar snacks means that there is something for everyone! We offer vegetarian and vegan options and can cater for any special dietary requirements. We can prepare something from scratch or if you are booking a table you can always let us know of any special requirements in advance. From homemade steak and ale pie to Chinese mushroom curry, we have something for everyone.

Outside we have a beer garden to enjoy a drink or two in when the sun is shining, and we can also cater for parties and functions.

The local area is very picturesque and provides lots of activities and attractions for everyone. You’ll find many curious streets among the local market towns and there is plenty of golf and fishing to be found locally. We even boast 10 miles of walks in the village, the Thornham walks cover the Estate of the Henniker family, through ancient woodlands and water meadows. The Four Horseshoes is just 1 mile off of the main A140 road that connects Norwich and Ipswich, and the main Norwich to London Rail line is only a 10 minute drive away in either town of Diss or Stowmarket.
