Culford Farm Cottages are set amidst 250 acres of glorious, peaceful and attractive farmland. Each of the three delightful, imaginatively converted and comfortable self catering cottages offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy tranquil surroundings whilst walking beside the River Lark.

Ideally situated for exploring this lovely region, Culford is a little hamlet less than 3 miles from historic Bury St Edmunds' Theatre Royal (N.T.), Abbey and Priory Gardens. Thetford Forest, Long Melford Hall, Lavenham Guildhall, Newmarket Races and the city of Cambridge are all within 30 minutes' drive. Pubs, restaurants, shop/P.O. is 3 miles.

This imaginative single story conversion of a Victorian piggery enjoys:- full length glazed windows and door opening onto a secluded courtyard garden, equipped with its own private hot tub, an open plan lounge with dining and kitchen areas lead to a corridor where the bed, bath and utility rooms can be found. The master bedroom equipped with a king size bed and private en suite. Two twin rooms (one can be turned into a double by arrangement). Each bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.

The swimming pool, located in a walled garden (alongside a couple of apple trees, and a plum tree), is the perfect place to relax on a hot summers day or warm up in the depths of winter.

The pool is 36' in length and 18' in width, with a depth of 3'4'' and the shallow end and 5'2'' in the deep end. As of autumn 2013, the pool will be enclosed by a glass structure allowing us to keep the pool open all year round, previously the pool had been closed from October through till May. The new roof will allow us to maintain a constant 28°C.

With many beautiful museums and art galleries, Cambridge is the place to go for inspiration. You can explore quaint passages set amidst the historic market place, where a unique and relaxing shopping experience can be found. Independent shops are surrounded by high street brands are all over Cambridge, where after you can relax in the many beautiful pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Banham Zoo (open all year round), is home to some of the worlds most beautiful animals. From the lion enclosure to the seal show, and many others in between, every family member can find their niche. For the children, there are meet and greet sessions with some of the animals.

A registered National Park, Ickworth park has some of the best scenery in Suffolk. Surrounded with many walks through its grounds and with a local farmer having his sheep on show on the open fields. Once you've finished walking, a short stroll from the car park, Ickworth Hotel can provide you with food from their restaurant and drinks from the bar.
