Details

September Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Wenhaston, nestled in a lovely part of Suffolk. We are near Southwold and a great base for exploring the area.

Our traditional brick/flint cottage is believed to date back to the late 1700s. It is set in the heart of the village opposite St Peter’s church, famous for its Doom painting. The cottage has been beautifully restored and refurbished to a high specification in keeping with the period, retaining the charm and character of many original features yet with a contemporary touch and the benefit of modern appliances.

The rear cottage garden is a tranquil setting with old sleeper steps leading to a lawned area complete with a patio table and chairs with gas barbecue and a secured shed for cycles. The enclose garden has access to a footpath leading to Church Common, ideal for those wonderful country walks across the Blyth Valley.
