The beautiful island of Scalpay is in the Outer Hebrides in the North West Scotland. There are few places which can offer such unique surroundings, wonderful panoramic views of the secluded bay, mountains, seascape and uninhabited islands in East Loch Tarbert. The island abounds in wildlife, a colony of seals can often be seen basking on nearby rocks - this is therefore the perfect choice for naturalists, birdwatchers or for anyone seeking complete seclusion and tranquillity.

Fishing and boating may all be enjoyed. For young children there is a lovely new playpark in the village, which also has a small knitwear company, craft shops and a general store. Shops are only half a mile away in the village.

The bungalow is situated on a 12 acre site and permission is granted to occupants to enable them walk over the croft and gain access to the beaches where seals/otters can be viewed regularly on nearby rocks. The location is one of the quietest spots on the island and there is an abundance of wildlife in the area.
