Street Head Farm is a traditional 18th Century Yorkshire Dales Farmhouse, standing in open farmland with spectacular views. It is situated on our working dairy and sheep farm, several fields away from the farmstead, and approached by a separate road. The traditional market town of Skipton, famous for its medieval Castle, and known as the "Gateway to the Dales", lies approximately five miles away.
Great care has been taken to retain Street Head’s original charm, whilst providing all the facilities for home from home comforts. Central heating is adjustable and there is double glazing throughout, with the addition of a wood burner in the large sitting room. Stone fireplaces have been restored, beams exposed, and stone flagged floors preserved. The house comfortably sleeps ten. Beautifully restored in 2005, Palmers retains many of its original features, for example, high ceilings.
