The Snowdon Cottage, Llanycil, Bala, Gwynedd
We believe that this cottage situated in Bala, Capel Ceyln, Wales is at least 100 years old. We purchased the cottage in 2002. At the time it was in a dilapidated state and was being used as a sheep shelter! It has taken us 4 years to complete the total refurbishment and extension to the cottage. We have attempted to keep its traditional Welsh charm, while ensuring that it is comfortable with modern amenities.
The cottage has an open plan living area with a traditional wood burning fire. There is a pine dining table and chairs. There is a leather settee which converts into a full size double bed. There is a TV with DVD player and a small DVD library. We have Sky Satellite TV as there is no TV reception via aerial! We have a selection of old books for you to browse.
We have a fully equipped kitchen area with fridge freezer, electric cooker, combi grill / microwave and a Belfast si…
