This grand Georgian building built by the Duke of Somerset was originally meant to be a railway hotel. Sadly the railway never arrived at Maiden Bradley but as a result the village gained this magnificent inn which sits at the heart of the community across the road from the community run village shop and a stone’s throw away from a 12 century church and the Duke’s seat at Bradley House.

Drawell Cottage is located on a working beef and sheep farm, within its own private gardens and surroundings. It is a traditional well equipped cosy cottage by Sedbergh in Cumbria and is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District National Park.
The lounge has oak beams and panelling and a wood effect electric stove housed in a rustic brick inglenook fireplace. There is also a TV and CD player.
