Disblair House Hotel is a pet friendly hotel situated on the north side of Aberdeen on the outskirts of the village of Newmachar. We are only 6 miles from Aberdeen Airport and 12 miles from Aberdeen city centre. This makes is an ideal location to suit the needs of everyone, whether you are visiting the North East of Scotland for business or to enjoy a well-earned break.

At present the hotel offers three letting rooms to include a double room, a twin room with zip and link beds, both rooms are en suite and a four-poster/family room with private bathroom and shower. Three further rooms will be available in the near future. All rooms are equipped with a hospitality tray, TV and DVD, internet access and a welcome drink on arrival.

Comfort extends beyond the rooms, as residents can relax and enjoy the tranquillity and warmth of the drawing-room with its welcoming log fire and honesty bar. Your Home from home! A DVD library is also available for those who prefer the privacy of their own room.

Our breakfast menu is served in the dining room, offering everything from continental to a full Scottish breakfast and anything in between. Food is freshly prepared, using locally sourced produce and suppliers whenever possible. Breakfast orders can be made the evening before departure for those who require to make a swift and early start.

Evening meals are available at nearby restaurants and country pubs with sample menus available on request. An evening meal can be provided at Disblair House given prior notice. Packed lunch snacks can be provided for residents on request.

Residents who enjoy outdoor pursuits will have nearby access to walking, golfing (Newmachar Golf Course - 2 miles), shooting and fishing and those who have an interest in history and local traditions will find themselves on the Castle and Whisky trails of the North East (Fyvie Castle - 8 miles).

The pet friendly hotel sits in approximately 5 acres of private gardens and grounds where residents can relax and enjoy the open countryside and spend time observing the wealth of flora and fauna around them. During the summer months, come and enjoy the summer evenings by the warmth of the chiminea and watch the sun go down in perfect peace.
