The Old School are a collection of wonderful self catering holiday apartments, nestled in a quiet part of the Scottish Highlands at Dalavich. Our apartments near Taynuilt are an ideal base for exploring Argyll and provide guests with a comfortable place to stay that you and your pet will both love.

All of our ground floor apartments are tastefully furnished and come with an open-plan kitchen and living area, either with 1 or 2 bedrooms. Additional child’s beds or baby cots can be arranged. All the apartments come with Satellite TV and a DVD player in the living area. The ideal spot to watch a film after a busy day exploring the local area. The kitchens are fully equipped and come with a cooker, microwave, fridge and all the utensils you would expect. Outside there is a spacious garden which is perfect for dogs to run around in.

Each apartment includes heating, bed-linen, and a complimentary welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, and sugar.

Literature: An ideal apartment for solo travellers or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Comes with a spacious double bedroom and comfy lounge to unwind in.

Science: Comes with one double and one twin room, a lounge and kitchen, making it ideal for families or groups.

For the keen fisherman, Loch Awe is nearby and is one of the largest lochs in Scotland, over 26 miles long, a mile wide in places and reaching depths of 300ft. Boat hire is available at different places around the Loch, including Loch Awe Boats and some local owners.
