Argyll Hotel, Bellochantuy, Campbeltown, Argyll, Bute, & The Islands
Argyll Hotel in Bellochantuy, Campbeltown on The Argyll, Bute, & The Islands, offers wonderful hotel accommodation in a seaside location. Most room enjoys glorious sea view, making us the ultimate holiday destination.
Our stunning hotel is perfect for a memorable break away. We have 8 bedrooms in the hotel. 5 double en suite rooms, 2 twin / double en suite rooms and 1 single room with its own private bathroom. Most rooms have a sea view. The twin rooms have 1 double bed and one single in each meaning they can also be used as family / triple rooms (please contact us direct about this).
We can also supply an additional single bed to allow one of the rooms to accommodate a family of four (again please contact us direct about this). 1 of the double rooms is on the ground floor and has been partially adapted for people with mobility issues.
There is also a cosy traditional bar (serving real ale, craft gins and malt whiskies), a pool room and relaxed seating in the conservatory area along with the seaview restaurant. Wi-Fi is free (but the quality is intermittent being a remote rural area – as too are mobile phone signals) – ideal for a digital detox.
There are also stunning seaviews from the conservatory restaurant and outdoor seaside terrace. Enjoy the white sand beach and West Coast of Scotland Atlantic Ocean views taking in a classic Scottish view of the Inner Hebridean islands of Islay, Jura and also Gigha.
Our hotel is in a beautiful part of Scotland and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. We are the ideal base for couples, friends and families who want a getaway from it all break. There are numerous walks from the front door of the hotel that both you and your canine friend will love. We benefit from being on the coast and at the edge of beautiful countryside. Kintyre may appear remote but it is in easy reach of many places that offer great days out. The Crinan Canal is well worth a visit and there are plenty of places for refreshment and food along its length. Slightly further north is Kilmartin, an ancient and mystical place, taking us back 5,000 years to early civilisation in the UK. Inveraray is a picturesque town on Loch Fyne with a castle and Inveraray Jail worth visiting. Nearby is Fyne Ales craft beer brewers, who supply the hotel, offering tours. A little further and you are entering the Arrocchar Alps with some fine hill and mountain walk and climbs. Closer to home a visit to Tarbert takes you to a lovely village built around the natural harbour of East Loch Tarbert. It has a marina with chandlrey shops, a fishing industry and a number of craft and art shops. All overlooked by Tarbert Castle.
