Aber Holiday Cottages are all uniquely designed and furnished, whether you’re away on an activity trip or your annual family holiday we aim to cater for every requirement. The cottages provide dog friendly self catering accommodation in the Aberystwyth area in Ceredigion. As well as accepting pets. Some of our properties are also designed with our disabled guests in mind, others are all on the ground floor for those with limited mobility and we also have some with jacuzzi baths for that added bit of luxury.

Pentre Farmhouse, Lovesgrove:

Pentre Farmhouse is our newest property, located in Lovesgrove near Capel Bangor. On the same site as Pentre Cottage and Rheidol Cottage, the farmhouse has enough accommodation for those larger groups with 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a modern large kitchen with a dining table, as well as a beautifully old fashioned lounge with a large open fire to sit in front of during the winter months. The farmhouse still maintains much of its previous character, right down to the large garden which can be accessed from the lounge, making this property the perfect retreat for families with children who can while away the hours playing outside.

Pentre Cottage, Lovesgrove:

Pentre Cottage is one of two detached converted outbuildings on Pentre Farm located in Lovesgrove near Capel Bangor. The cottage, in its rural location is the perfect base for travel across all of Mid Wales, benefitting from its central location. Pentre Cottage is a ground floor property, with 2 bedrooms and a wet room with toilet - a suitable solution for our disabled guests. The cottage opens into the lounge, leading through to the kitchen area, where a conservatory with a dining area lies at the far end of the cottage. From the conservatory there is a small enclosed garden with a barbeque and outside furniture to enjoy the summer weather.

Pentre Cottage has a small utility room with its own washing machine for our guests to use. The cottage also comes equipped with Freeview TV, a fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. There is ample parking just outside the cottage for 1 or 2 cars.

Rheidol Cottage, Lovesgrove:

Rheidol Cottage is the second of two converted outbuildings located on Pentre Farm. The cottage is directly opposite Pentre Cottage and benefits from the ideal location in Mid Wales. Another one of our ground floor cottages, the accommodation comprises of a conservatory dining room leading into a living room come kitchen - all with wooden floors. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one king size double room with an en suite wet room and toilet. The second room is a twin room and finally there is another bathroom with a shower over a bath. There is the option to add an additional single into the double room should that be required. The cottage also has a washing machine/tumble drier and a dishwasher. Finally, Rheidol also has a patio area outside with outdoor furniture, perfect for the warmer summer months.

Locally to Pentre Farm there are plenty of hidden activities such as pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting, golf and quad biking. The bus stops just at the end of the lane making transport to nearby villages and towns easy. Apart from that there is also a footpath leading just off the farm, which is a regular place to spy Red Kites and other wonderful wildlife.

Aberceiro Bungalow, Llandre:

Located just outside of Bow Street in the small village of Llandre, this 4 star bungalow is in the ideal location between Borth a popular seaside resort and Aberystwyth a seaside University town. The bungalow can sleep up to 8 people and consists of three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms are en suite with showers. There is also a kitchen, bathroom, private lounge and dining room. Aberceiro is also lucky enough to have a large conservatory with views of the surrounding countryside. The bungalow is set in peaceful, idyllic surroundings with your own private garden and fantastic views of the Eleri Valley.

Bryncarnedd Country Cottages, Clarach Road:

Bryncarnedd Country Cottages are located 1 mile from Aberystwyth's town centre. Nestled in the immediate countryside at the top of Aberystwyth, these cottages enjoy the closeness to the town as well as being just far enough outside to enjoy a truly rural feeling during your holiday.

The cottages, named after traditional farm buildings, vary in size sleeping from 2 to 10 persons, with 1 to 4 bedrooms and each one uniquely decorated and furnished with luxurious fittings to provide the perfect accommodation for your holiday away. Most of the cottages have en suite bedrooms, some of the cottages have patios and gardens, while others have jacuzzi baths to relax and enjoy. All of the cottages have an open plan layout, enabling you to cook, eat and live in a bright and airy environment, making the most of you valuable time together.

The town of Aberystwyth is a great holiday resort with 2 beaches, lovely promenade and lots of attractions including the Aberystwyth Castle and Aberystwyth Electric Cliff Railway.
