Ty Coch Farm, Betws-Y-Coed, Conwy
Ty Coch Farm offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation and is situated in a very quiet location away from the hustle of Betws-y-Coed, Conwy and is only a 10 minute drive away from all restaurants and pubs. Attached to the farm we have Gwydyr stables which offer horseback riding around the Forest and mountains for all abilities and ages. The National trust property TyMawr which was the birth place of Bishop William Morgan, is only 500 yards away and also has its own nature trail walk.
All of the bed and breakfast rooms have en suite bathrooms, colour T.V and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are cosy with views overlooking the Wybernant Valley.
The lounge has a traditional farm look with a large inglenook fire place and log burner for the cold winter nights, a large flat screen T.V with Sky. A suit of armour sits in the corner of the room overlooking it all. The porch has large windows, offering a superb view of the garden and valley. It has a small table and 2 chairs so you can sit with a drink and relax. We have a small garden with tables and chairs again with a view of the valley and forest.
Ty Coch dining room is called the Armoury due to the historical weapons on the walls. It is a small personal dining room that seats up to 9 people, 6 at the traditional long oak table and 3 at the window table. It has a log burner for those cold mornings and a view out onto the valley floor.
Narrow gauge railways, woollen mills, slate mines, waterfalls, castles, golf and many more attractions are nearby.
