Olive House, Rock, Polzeath, Cornwall
Olive House is a large detached house in the centre of the village, opposite the bakery and butchers, on flat terrain about one mile from the beach and golf club.
Set in a secluded, flat enclosed garden with oversized garden furniture, the property has a lovely patio and pretty pond.
It has a semi-circular in-out drive with parking for four cars, without blocking each other in. It also has a separate side drive to the owner/staff cottage, behind the main house with its own separate garden.
It has six bedrooms: three doubles, two bunks and a twin. All the doubles have their own en suite shower/WC/basin. The remaining bedrooms have individual basins, and in addition there is a family bathroom. One of the double bedrooms is downstairs, useful for grandparents who would prefer not to use the main stairs. However there are two steps to this part of the house also.
Rock is on the North Cornwall coast, on the east side of the River Camel, whose estuary offers surfing at Polzeath, golf, sailing and water-skiing at Rock. More serious shopping can be enjoyed at Wadebridge, 4 miles away at the head of the estuary. Food lovers can enjoy Rick Steinís establishments in Padstow.
