The Longcross Hotel is set in almost 4 acres of its own grounds and gardens, overlooking some 20 miles of the North Cornwall coast and perched high above Port Quin, between Port Isaac and Polzeath, The Longcross is in the perfect secluded location to enjoy a quiet relaxing break yet is within easy striking distance of some of the area's best attractions. Rock and the Camel Estuary with its associated sailing and water sports and easy ferry access to Padstow, the championship golf course at St. Enodoc, Daymer Bay and Polzeath surfing beaches, historic Port Isaac fishing village, local market town of Wadebridge with cycle hire for the Camel Trail to Padstow and the diverse Bodmin Moor are all within 20 minutes’ drive.

The hotel has 15 recently refurbished elegant bedrooms all with private bathrooms, central heating, flat screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms have panoramic views. We are able to cater for those who are less mobile, with 3 rooms on the ground floor that are no more than 4 metres from the car park.

Experience our Hotel Restaurant, where our dedicated staff prides themselves on carefully prepared contemporary cuisine and exceptional service. Whatever your taste, dining at the Long Cross Hotel is sure to exceed your expectations.

Located adjacent to the hotel are our Longcross Victorian Gardens, the only public gardens on the North Cornish coast, and the subject of a television feature because of their unusual aspects. The gardens remain in the original Victorian garden layout and they retain their original splendour. Visitors often say that they have never seen a garden resembling the Longcross and this is mainly because the gardens were constructed primarily to overcome the difficulties of the local climate.

The hotel is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the attractive village of Trelights. Port Isaac, made famous as ‘Port Wenn’ in the television series Doc Martin, is just over a mile away and the quaint National Trust village of Port Quin lies slightly nearer in the other direction.
